Xiaomi Smart TV X Series goes bigger with a new 65-inch option

Along with a slew of other products including Redmi 12 5G and Redmi Smart Watch, Xiaomi also introduced its new Mi Smart TV X series in India that will also be available in 65-inch screen size. These TVs aim to offer a premium experience at competitive prices and will be available for purchase starting August 4. 

Price and Availability 

The Mi Smart TV X series will be available in 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch display sizes starting at Rs. 28,999 after factoring in introductory offers and discounts. These TVs will be available for purchase on mi.com, Flipkart, and at Xiaomi retail stores.

As part of the introductory offers, consumers can also get an additional Rs. 3000 off using card offers. The 65-inch model will be available for purchase starting August 5, while the rest of the models will be up for grabs a day earlier, on August 4.

Xiaomi Smart TV X-series Features

The Xiaomi Smart TV X series offers metallic side bezels for a premium feel. As mentioned above, these 4K TVs are available in 4 different screen sizes with wide colour gamut support. They support Dolby Vision HDR and HDR 10, complimented by a 30W audio system with Dolby Audio, DTS Virtual X and DTS X. Xiaomi sources a mix of IPS and VA panels for its TVs and uses the VividPicture engine to tune them for a similar experience.  

The X-series TVs are powered by MediaTek quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and 8GB storage. Connectivity options include three HDMI 2.1 ports with ALLM, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, two USB ports, optical input, Aux, and an ethernet port.

Xiaomi's latest LED LCD TVs are powered by the Google TV OS, a feature that will be standard on all their future TVs. Alongside the Google TV OS, Xiaomi maintains its integration of the Patchwall launcher and continues to enhance it with content discovery features like a dedicated music tab. One of the notable additions is PatchWall+ which emulates the familiar DTH-style Live TV interface, catering especially to elderly consumers who are accustomed to it. PatchWall+ is currently in its early stages of development and will offer around 200 free-to-air channels at the launch. The Patchwall+ Live TV service will be available across
