OnePlus launched its flagship OnePlus 11 this year with a neat design, and already renders of its successor are surfacing on the internet. The OnePlus 12 could launch with a very similar design but with many changes. Smartprix in collaboration with Onleaks has leaked some renders which suggest many new features about the design. The publication also claimed that these renders have been made from the testing units of OnePlus 12.
Let’s start with the back panel of OnePlus 12, here we might see the signature sandstone finish which was also featured in the OnePlus 11. Apart from that, the camera module could also see some major changes in OnePlus 12. OnePlus is expected to feature the periscope lens in OnePlus 12 as the renders show a vertical strip in the camera module.

The camera island of OnePlus 12 is very much similar to the OnePlus 11, according to the renders. The camera arrangement might be different but the camera module, still circular and integrated in stainless steel plate, according to the leaks. The flashlight can also be seen on the top left corner of the plate instead of circular camera island.
Talking about the front of the smartphone, the OnePlus 12 is rumoured to feature the punch-hole selfie camera in the middle instead of top left corner.

The specs of the smartphone have also been leaked on the internet which suggest a 6.7-inch QHD OLED curved display with 120Hz refresh rate. Apart from that, the OnePlus 12 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and could also come with the support of 150-watt fast charging support and 50-watt wireless charging support. As I mentioned above, the company might also add a 64-megapixel Omnivision OV64B periscope lens.
Now the similar design could be a good thing for OnePlus. It could be a brand image and signature like Apple’s iPhone but Android users might not find it very creative because most of them expect new designs from new Android smartphones. What do they say about don't fix it if it isn't broken? It might be a similar sentiment about the OnePlus 12's design renders. Let's wait and watch.
