Samsung Mobile head TM Roh has hinted at the products that we could get to see at the Galaxy Unpacked event. This includes the new Samsung foldables, wearables, and tablets. So, we may not see a new regular phone, laptop, or anything other than the things he mentioned.
But, since the things he talks about are more than enough to make this event star-studded, no complaints. Moreover, we know a fair bit about these products. Come on, have a look.
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2023: What to expectHe starts the blog by talking about innovative design and then highlights how the company has “ raised the standards for foldable smartphone ergonomics”. He emboldens how the upcoming foldables are thinner and lighter than the predecessors.
Samsung foldables are not necessarily bestowed with the latest and greatest specs since design takes priority.
Still, the book-shaped Galaxy Z Fold 5 5G could be coming with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset, UFS 4.0 storage, a new 12MP telephoto camera, and updated connectivity options like WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3.
The Z Flip 5, meanwhile, is expected to come with a bigger cover screen and software features utilising that enlarged space. It is said to benefit from the same Snapdragon chip as the Fold 5. It could be very similar to its precursor in other areas.
Both phones are likely to get better hinge mechanisms, which should be able to close them flatter and when opened the crease is likely to be more concealed.

The new Samsung tablets could be Tab S9, Tab S9 Plus, Tab S9 Ultra, Tab S9 FE, and Tab S9 FE Plus. The latter could launch a little after the Unpacked event.
The Tab S9 series (at least the non-FE variants) could feature IP67 dust and water protection and OLED displays.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series, meanwhile, is rumoured to launch in Galaxy Watch 6, Watch 6 Classic, and maybe even a Galaxy Watch 6 Business model.

The Galaxy Watch 6 is speculated to ship in 40mm and 44mm dial sizes, while the Watch 6 Classic could be available in 43mm and 47mm sizes. The bezels could be rotating. Both watches could be engined by an Exynos W930 SoC, have the latest WearOS out of the box, a temperature sensor, Sapphire glass shield, IP68 ingress protection and more.
